Our Commitment as Medical Negligence Solicitors
Ensure someone says sorry
Sometimes, all a patient or their family want to hear is for someone to say “sorry, we made a mistake”. In the course of a claim, we can often secure an apology for the patient or family, and while nothing can turn back the clock, an apology can help with the patient’s recovery process.
Raise awareness
Many patients and families wish to raise awareness of what has happened to them by highlighting their case in the media. We can help those who want to speak out by managing all media involvement in their case. It is a brave step to take but it can help the client to move on and help to prevent the same thing from happening to others.
Ensure lessons are learned
By bringing wrongdoing to the attention of those responsible via a claim, the subsequent investigation and potential financial implications can help to ensure lessons are learned.
Protect other patients
The bringing of a claim can result in safety being improved and steps taken to prevent the same thing from happening again.
Don’t delay seeking support
The advice and emotional support they provide can help women and their families to begin to cope with their devastation and the earlier this begins, the better the long-term outcome will be
Our specialist medical negligence team has extensive experience in securing compensation for those who have suffered spinal injuries due to medical errors. Clinical negligence cases are often complex but our specialist team has the required legal knowledge needed to secure compensation in any instance.
We always take a professional and understanding approach and will do all we can to ensure you are well informed throughout the process, giving you the confidence that such an important matter is in the right hands.
We understand just how debilitating injuries can be, and the impact they can have both physically and psychologically. We’re therefore in your corner to help you fight for the compensation you deserve.
Revealing what went wrong
Expert opinions are crucial to establish whether the medical staff were responsible. For example in the case of baby’s brain damage, a team of experienced doctors and midwives are called upon to prepare reports on the care provided to mother and baby and whether critical mistakes were made. If the expert evidence indicates that poor care has led to A child’s cerebral palsy, the solicitor and barrister will begin making preparations to progress the claim.

A word of caution
As a cautionary word it is always important that every patient heeds their own intuition in other words if you feel something is not right most often the patient is correct that there is a problem.
What we need
It is vitally important that we as specialists in medical wrongs (negligence) obtain your medical notes and records from the doctor and the hospital so we can then advise if you have a case.
I attended my Doctor in some pain. He injected me but the pain got worse. It turned out the area became septic and I had to be urgently operated on. It left me with a life-long problems, but my Solicitor handled the whole matter with great care and dignity. While I was reluctant to pursue my Doctor, it was all done very sympathetic manner and without any embarrassment to anyone.
I went in for a routine operation, but I did not realise nor was I told the complications that could have arisen. I was shocked with what happened which left me with life-long embarrassing problems. Only for Ambrose and John I would not be able to stand up to the Hospital and fight. Even to get my full notes were troublesome, but my Solicitor always explained things to me and assured me I would be successful, both in compensation and in they acknowledging they were wrong.
